HILARY SLATER

My first childhood influence was Tom Thomson. At the age of 12, I did a school project on him.
Before that, my grandfather, Egon Schiele, and Monet were all earlier influences.
Recently I've felt the influence of Canadian landscape painters of my work:  Steve Driscoll, Susan Scott,
John D. Anderson, John Hartman, Emily Carr, Mary Pratt.  To name but a few.
